Podcast SummaryThis Podcast is about the short story world and the unexpected field recordings that take you to places you might not have been. Each episode features either one or two story tellers reading their own works. Some are serious and some are just plain fun. Enjoy About kennyWhen recording music I go by the name Ootsman, which stands for One Of The Sherwoods. This was the first rock band I was in way back in 1963. I have been making some kind of music since then and along the way I got a degree in painting from a wonderful small college "Memphis College of Art". I live in western Washington state overlooking the Olympic Mountains, in fact today the sky is blue and the sun is reflecting off of the snow caps. Today I teach video and audio at The Art Institute of Seattle. I have been teaching there for about 13 years and I still love it. I have the best students in the known Universe. I still play rock-n-roll when I can find someone willing to let me sit in for a couple of songs. I am hoping that you will enjoy these podcasts as they were made with love. I have always loved the spoken word on the radio and just want to pass on the art of the spoken word.
